Reviewed and updated operational guidelines have been announced for:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
- Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)
The NDIS has been actively pursuing efforts to ease access to NDIS programs as well as NDIS generally as an institution. For that purpose, the SIL and SDA guidelines have been prepared in a manner much more suitable for the civilian population and should be easier to comprehend as compared to our regular operational reference material.
With the help of the community, members as well as staff, the NDIS feels this step is one in many towards creating a more integrated institution and the enable access to it.
